When the third special disarmament general assembly was held at New York United Nations Headquarters, Buddha’s Ashes Embracing Society, its Secretary-General is Uiti Noda (former Economic Planning Agency Chief and Honorary Chairman of Japan-China Investment Development Consulting Co., Ltd.) and its Chairperson is Takeo Fukuda (ex-Prime Minister ), gave Buddha's ashes of Jianzhen to the peace tower in front of New York United Nations Headquarters after they visited 13 countries starting with a trip in China to pray for realization of world peace. Sakashita served as a secretary general of this mission. Japan-China joint peace prayer Buddhist memorial service that Sun Pinghua, Chairperson at Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Chao Parkchu, Chairperson of Chinese Buddhism Society, sponsored were performed grandly in Beijing. |
